Official Review of Prince Caspain....

Emma (five) "It was AWESOME!"

Nathaniel (seven) It was fun but I didn't like the kissing part.

And neither did Emma, apparently, as she hid her face during the "kiss" but her eyes were glued to the screen in all of the action scenes.

So Prince Caspian is a success as an action movie but leave out the romance please.... as per the peanut gallery.

We're reading that Prince Caspian is a "war movie" and not a kids' movie. Sounds like that is all politically correct nonsense?

My kids are going to an oldfashioned drive in to see it this Sunday- I'm so excited for them. And grateful that my oldest who is 18 begged me to take the 6 yo who I thought too young. I must have done something right and I intend to enjoy it until they prove me wrong!

Is the adult review at your house as positive as the children's?

I loved The Lion, The witch, and the Wardrobe. My children had it on tape ( generic version ) long before Disney came out with their version.
Because I loved this one so much I was skeptical when I heard about Prince Caspain coming out. I felt that it couldn't possibly be as good.
I have also heard that it does not at all carry the "message" that The Lion, The witch, and the Wardrobe did.
( for that matter I hear Asland (sp)was barely even in this one)
Since my kids are older now, we have yet to rush out and see it yet and will probably wait until it comes to the Drive in or a cheaper theater.
You, being a Catholic Mom,would surely be better able to give a better review than those that I have heard and read.I would appreciate if you can find time if you would give us your opinion.

Dear Diane:
I would love to post a review of Prince Caspian and will try to so soon. I will do a quick re-read of the actual book first however - which I had wanted to do before viewing the film.
Look for an announcement soon for the review!
Blessings
Christi

Kissing? Kissing? What would Mr. Lewis think?? We're looking forward to checking this one out next week. Indiana Jones was fun, btw, and clean, too.
