Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my mother: to you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. Lydia welcomed her aunt during the 12 days of Christmas.
Cecilia Therese was born during the Christmas season, though thankfully not on Christmas Eve or Day. We are grateful to the Sacred Heart of Jesus for the miraculous birth of this precious baby whose protection we placed within the wounds of Christ's heart, during her very long labour. We are also thankful for all of the prayers that were sent our way and we know they helped and lifted us through a most challenging time.
