The incredible power of nature is... well - incredible!
Our prayers go out to the evacuees and survivors all across the south western coastline as they cope with the devastation that one of the largest hurricanes on record left behind in its wake.
Almighty and merciful God,
whose Son became a refugee
and had no place to call his own;
look with mercy on those who today
are fleeing from danger,
homeless and hungry.
Bless those who work to bring them relief;
and inspire generosity and compassion in all our hearts;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
