The Kindness Test

I took this test and scored nine, the lower end of "kinda nice person, but as a follower of Christ I need work!" Ooops! Try the test yourself and see how you score!
Good Luck!

I confess, I scored a 7 -- time to pull myself up by my bootstraps and be a kinder person. Maybe I should ask for help, huh?
That is probably part of the problem. . . .forgetting to ask God in.

Oh, dear. If I'm brutally honest I don't do so well... If I answer "I'd like to be that way," or "I try" I do a lot better. It's an uphill struggle!

ok,
I thought I was getting better. I pray the divine office 7 times daily, go to confession at least weekly, mass daily, sometimes twice..... yet I scored 5.
It once again has highlighted the need for me to resist passion, which, for me at least, can,and often does result in the loss of my temper.

Be calm but vigilant, because your enemy the devil is prowling round like a roaring lion, looking for someone to eat. Stand up to him, strong in faith.

Hi!!!
I could not find your email address on your blog so i hope you do not mind me emailing/posting this comment to you :)

I am a homeschooling mom of 5 little children all under 7 years old.

I am curious---how much clothes do you have per child? I am going nuts over here with the amount. God provides! We are so very thankful- all our clothes have been hand me downs. But, there is a little problem-they just keep coming! I know that I can say no thank you but I think to myself, maybe there is just one or 2 or more outfits that we really need in a big huge bag of 20 plus! So, for free, I think-hey, it’s worth it! I also think to myself that if I say no to the friend this time, they may not offer in the future thinking we have enough when in reality we really are in need.

So, anyway, my question is: do you have a set number of pants/shirts (not including Sunday best clothes) but every day clothes. Do you have the kids in uniforms? With all the changes of the seasons, we have such a huge amount of shorts/t-shirts/pants/shorts/sweaters etc…the list could go on.

Do you have any type of system that works for you?

I know of another mom who has ONLY 5 OUTFITS-per child per season-hung on hangers-1 per day. They wear them stains and all.

I am a bit on the fence about this….well it is tempting to get rid of most of the kids’ clothes to just have 5! But I do like to see my children dressed nicely without all those stains(if I can help it).

Overwhelmed with the laundry loads, I figured I would ask you and I can’t wait to hear what you (or others) have to say about this deal.

Thanks in advance!!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to your family!!!

God Bless you,

Mary
