As we stepped out of our air conditioned van into the 102 temperture (humidex was 108) 2 year old Elsa commented:
"It ... 'mells like HOT!!" to which we all agreed. It did smell hot, face too close to the fire hot!
(For my Canadian readers... that is 38.8 and 42 respectively!)

Ouch! And I thought we were hot yesterday.
I posted instructions for the music player on my blog. It's easy.
You are happy.
We are having a very hard winter here in Uruguay.
Keep going mum2twelve!

For decades, Genie and I go to Quebec for my birthday in late July, to get out of the heat... so far, the past two years, Quebec has been right in the middle of a heat wave... no relief!!!
Next week I am off to Kansas for a wedding... not much hope of a few cool vaction days there either! Uruguay sounds like the place to be! I had relitives in Montivadeo... maybe it is time to go look them up!
Well, soon the toranado season will pass in New York (never had to say THAT before) and it will be the hurricane season! Then Christmas will be right around the corner!
=)
