Today I am tired... but I will try to act as though I am not.
Today I am worried... but I will try to put my worries in Christ's capable hands.
Today I am sad... but I will put on a happy face because I know if I try hard enough my smile will triumph.
Today I will focus on my blessings, which are many despite my trials which, in comparision to my blessings, are few.
Today I will act grateful until I feel grateful.
Today will be difficult but I will face it one minute at a time with Jesus and Mary at my side.
Today their ears will be busy because I will plying them for assistance all day.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my mother: to you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. Lydia welcomed her aunt during the 12 days of Christmas.
Cecilia Therese was born during the Christmas season, though thankfully not on Christmas Eve or Day. We are grateful to the Sacred Heart of Jesus for the miraculous birth of this precious baby whose protection we placed within the wounds of Christ's heart, during her very long labour. We are also thankful for all of the prayers that were sent our way and we know they helped and lifted us through a most challenging time.
