I will try not to judge...

This woman, Bonnie McKay is a saint! I do not know that I could be as forgiving as she is being with the loss of her son, one of eight children. Her son was one of the four fireman that died recently when the wildfire that was deliberating set over took him and his crew. I heard her statement that was made to the public on Fox News:

"I know my son; forgiveness is in his heart," she said. "It was a major part of who Jason was."
"I truly believe you didn't think that things were going to happen the way that they did. But they did," she said. "I, for one, will try not to judge you, for there is only one who can do that." "Don't let the remorse eat you alive. Come forward."

I wish I could find her statement in whole, perhaps if I have time and can so a little research I can.

I know I can borrow a page out of her book and put it in mine and be a little more forgiving in even the little day things.

What timing for thy post. Just this moment, I recieved an email from a friend who lost her son, a firefighter, who died when the trade center was destroyed. She is seeking the recovery of those, who like her son were never found. So, there is to be a prayer meeting and rally tomorow at 12:30. Those who can't attend, please say a prayer for them at that time. Here is part of her email,

"We must show our absolute solidarity at the site where our loved ones’ remains have lain ignored and unburied for over five years. It is time to stand up and be counted! There can be no more haphazard discovery of human body parts and personal effects. We demand a scientific, well-organized controlled survey of GZ by a reputable entity such as the Joint POW-MIA Accounting Command (JPAC) http://www.jpac.pacom.mil/ which is the group that searches for remains of missing soldiers from WW I to the present. We need to recover human remains of our loved ones at Ground Zero, surrounding buildings and the Fresh Kills garbage dump. Join Us ! We need your help ! Dress in black/purple for mourning and bring a photo of your loved one.

A project of the following groups:
WTC Families for Proper Burial, The Skyscraper Safety Campaign, WTC United Family Group, Cantor Fitzgerald Family Relief Fund, WDoyle 9/11 Support Group, Advocates for 9/11 Fallen Heroes Memorial"

We owe so much to these folks who risk their lives for us in the face of fire.

Thine in the light
