And its off again...

We are heading to Maryland to see our oldest child. Only for a few hours but well worth the drive! Then we head to Ohio - should be a pretty drive if we are not too tired to enjoy it after driving all night tonight. After picking up merchandise in Ohio and enjoying a coffee at Tim Hortens, we head home.

Until then cheerio and prayers are most welcome!

Have a blessed journey and a wonderful visit. Tim Horten's in the US! Well, that is a sort of nice turn around! With McDonnalds as far north as I have been in Canada, ( and that is pretty far north... ) its nice to see Canada getting a little of its own back.

Tim Horten's beats McD's hands down, Genie and I have taken refuge there on many occations, when it is 50 below, in Sept Illes, and windy...

Safe home

Hope you have a wonderful and safe trip.
I noticed that you have mentioned Tim Hortins in a couple posts. I have lived in Ohio all of my life and never seen one. I mentioned this strange fact to my husband and he said there are a few in the Canton and Columbus areas. As a matter of fact he said that there is one right across the street from where my sons go once a month for advanced ( ShotoKan) karate training and tournaments ( about 3 hours away from my NE Ohio home) and he had been there once or twice for coffee. Unfortunately, due to our busy schedules and a daughter who always has things that she needs a ride to. I have only made a few of these events.( Never noticed what was around the school that these trainings are held in ) Thanks to you enlightening me, we decided that I will attend the next training and check out Tim Hortins . My sons are thrilled as ,even though I watch their local class twice a week , I will be there for an advanced training. Thanks for the tip :-)

Tim Horton's is a VERY Canadian institution. He was a hockey player, before becoming the founder of a fast food chain, that is a real cut above the rest... Maybe it because me ol' Da was from Moose Jaw, Saskatchuan, but I think McD's and B King, just don't cut the Poutine, as Tim Horton's done. Oh Canada, I miss those steamed up windows...

Yes, I will have some carabou sausage with those eggs... and watch those fast rising tides or you can die like a moose!!!

Oh Canada... =)
