These sailors are familiar that areas that are dear to my heart, the St Lawrence Seaway, The Gaspe and even the city of Montreal. All places of which I have fond memories.
Following this blog could make an interesting geography unit for the summer.
Sailing to Ireland
I will try as soon as possible to add this as a permanent link on my side bar. (Please note I have not checked every post by these men on thier blog so if you should come across anything objectionable as you read their posts, strong language for example, please let me know.)
Hats off to Lor for sharing it.

Hi Christie:
Having sailed a wee bit in my younger days, square sail and fore and aft rig, I know so many little things can go wrong, from salt water in the electronics to a storm blowing one off course for a few days or more, so I am not very worried, but at the moment friends cast off, there is always concern. Well, two days late for an update, and expected landing in the Azores, I know thee and thine and all thy readers, will join Genie and I, and friends at the meeting house, who are praying for the crew of the St. Barbara.
Dear thoughts and prayers for thee and thine as well ( and all thy readers!).

They are all safe and well and have reached Ireland!
http://sailingsaintbarbara.com/ Great relief. The Saint Barbara has arrived in Ireland, with a new web address. I don't know why the old site was abandoned... and have yet to read back over all the posts, but for those following the voyage who worried as I did... here is the link.
Blessings
