...next year do NOT buy cap guns for Saint Nickolas to leave in the stockings. And when I leave instructions for where and when to put out the stockings remember to tell St Nick that Hugo does not want the stockings put out before 7 am in hopes of avoiding the 3 am wakeup call we had this year.

Aunque un poco tarde para nuestro caso, pero se lo haremos saber , como legado de sabiduría paterna, a los hijos que se vayan casando.
Claro que en Uruguay, esto es más típico en el 6 de enero. Pero igualmente aplicable.

Enjoy that 3 AM wake up call as best you can. This year my kids were all old enough to attend Midnight mass with my husband and I . They got to bed so late that at nine O'clock I had to wake them to open presents. Though I was well rested I actually miss that early morning excitement.
Toy guns for the children for Christmas? Not something Mother Mary or Our Lord Jesus would smile upon. Think a little more deeply about these things, mother of many young learners. Guns are not objects for young Catholics and young Christians. Do not be mislead by the current U.S. political administration.
