Excuse me? Did I hear that correctly?

While we were watching a coloured version of the Three Lives of Thomasina I remarked, 'I saw this when I was little' to which my 11 year old son replied:

"You mean this movie is that old?"

As I glared at him, my 10 year old daughter added:

"Well, two of the children are in Mary Poppins and that movie is very old!"

Excuse me while I schedule my geriatric check up....

  2. Age... Hmmm... Mum and I were walking down our tree lined avenue, huge trees, and it hit me, when I was a child there was not a tree on the block. I was older than every one of those huge trees.

Also, Mum remarked that she felt terrible that I took so much time taking care of her. I replied that she took a lot of time back when, taking care of me when I was a child, and I felt happy to do it, but did feel bad I had no children to take care of me if I get old.

She replied that she would just have to come back and take care of me, in that case...

I wish she would not say things like that on the street, it is rather embarassing to get all teary in public!!!

    Cheers
