This note was delivered...

... to me this morning via Miss Emma, offical Post Lady of the House.

Upon opening this note I read the following:

Mamas are not allowed downstairs
(until further notice )

Can anyone guess why?

PS I am still in my room, luckily I had the laptop and am still able contact the outside world!

    2 Surprise party
    3 The kids decided to paint the house and ran out of blueberry jam, and were scouring the neighborhood for more jam ... or testing to see how strawberry jam does on the door frames and moldings....

    Hope it is one of the first two....

    I am happy it was a Birthday party, and not a Happy Peal Harbor Day, party complete with dive bombed sushi treats and the like...
