I can't remember how much the lollies were, a quarter? a dime?

At first, I made excuses, don't have any change, forgot to bring it. But finally when my 1st grader said, "I've got money" I just had to tell them why we weren't buying the lollipops and never would.

It is heart wrenching to me, to have to explain to my children, still babes themselves, about abortion. And then try to justify why their friends all had lollipops. Their friends of course aren't evil, but just didn't know.

Knowledge is power.
